Plan Your Flight
Draw out the perimeter of the field you plan to map using the drone flight control software. You can create no-fly zones and irregular shaped fields are not a problem. The software automatically creates the flight path. You will be able to see flight distances and estimated flight times.

Fly the Field
Upload the flight plan to the drone and direct the drone to fly the route. You will need to change batteries about every 40 minutes and you can cover approximately 500 acres an hour. The drone maintains a height of about 250 feet above the field and maps at a speed of around 25 mph.

Process the Data
Load the data into the AGCOPTER software and it will recognize the weeds and create a map for your GPS controller. The program processes about 600 acres an hour. Here you also have the ability to target weeds by size, adjust the spray buffer and calculate the amount of chemical you will use with adjustments for the number of sections in your spray boom.
